* Part 146 Approved Course

‚ĆMany of the course providers listed on this page also offer apprenticeships.  The ADR Office encourages participation in apprenticeships as they are a proven way to master mediation skills.  Currently, the ADR Office does not approve apprenticeships under Part 146; it does however, approve apprenticeships offered by Community Dispute Resolution Centers.  Please contact the apprenticeship providers directly if you want to learn more about their apprenticeship opportunities. 

1) 30-Hour Basic Mediation Training*
*Part 146 Approved for 24 hours of Initial Mediation Training

2) Part 137 New Arbitrator Training
September 14th 8:30am-4pm
at the Queens County Bar Association
90-35 148 Street, Jamaica, New York 11435
with Dan Weitz, Esq. and Amy M. Pontillo, Esq.
Participants are asked to arbitrate cases in exchange for this free training.  Open to both attorneys and non-attorneys.
