Support

Child support and spousal support are handled in Family Court.

Child Support
Parents must financially support their child until the child turns 21 years old or is emancipated. You can go to Family Court for a court order for child support from the other parent.

Support, Adult Dependent (Developmentally Disabled)

Parents must financially support their adult dependent developmentally disabled child between the age of 21 and 25. A parent or other legally responsible adult can ask Family Court for a support order for an adult dependent that is developmentally disabled.

Spousal Support
Couples who are legally married must financially support each other while they are married. You can go to Family Court for a court order for spousal support.

Support DIY Forms
If you already have a order for child support or spousal support from Family Court, you can file a petition if you want to change it or if the order is not being followed.
